Well, hope this doesn't dim our chances at James.

Would have loved to have Moncrief, but guards I'm not so worried about, as we have a few pretty good ones already on the team.

James is a much bigger need than Moncrief.

She has a really good chance to start at LSU from day one. The SEC and ACC sare taking over this recurring class In fact about 17 of the 19 top players in the country have committed to a ACC or SEC school.

Don't know, but think that the fact that we have 4 top notch underclassman perimeter players might have played a role in the decisions of J-wash and Moncrief. Kids don't ever come out and say, after they commit, they didn't go to a particular school because they were worried they weren't going to get to play, but often it is an issue they have weighed. Opportunity to play right away is a really big deal to kids, so who knows.

And it might have been just a kid wanting to stay closer to home or liking one coach better than another. Moncrief sounded like a good player, and so it is too bad we didn't land her. Sherri will just move on and we'll be ok.
