The meltdown on Phog right now rivals what you would see on Surly. Sometimes, our posters can be hyper-critical of our players (me included), but if you are into blood and guts, take a gander over on that board about what they have to say about their players.....it ain't pretty.

I didn't watch the entire game but their players played like they just wanted to get it over with. Makes me like our players even more.

And, why not? Bill Self was coaching like he wanted the game to end. I never thought I’d see the day when KU’s coach had obviously thrown in the towel halfway through the second half. Maybe he’ll do the NCAA a favor and bolt for the NBA.

Oregon is like they have been in the past; very athletic with shooters. Bad news for them is that Dana Altman is still their coach so when they go cold they lose.

Me too...that's why the first four minutes of the game were so key, OU made some shots and didn't get buried early.

Yea they started 4/5 from 3, then went 0 for the next 11 but the 4/5 start kept that from happening.

Altman is one of the best coaches in the country.

I know he has a good reputation but I respectfully disagree that he is a “great coach”. Very good recruiter, which I realize is the most important part of success.
