We don't know much about Rich. ESPN said some good things about her when she was in high school. We have some guards who can shoot but are not very athletic. We have other guards who are athletic but can't shoot. I think most agree, we need players who are athletic and can shoot. The slower players are not effective at the midrange game. That is the part of the game that is mostly missing from our offense. With Gioya still slowed, we basically rely on three ways to score. We shoot threes, we pass inside, and we get to the line. We desperately need a return of the 15 foot jump shot. We need players who can remind us of DRob.

Keep in mind, the value of these videos is not much. But, one might be able to get a glimpse of quickness, jumping ability, perhaps ball handling, etc. This video does show that Morgan likes the midrange jumpshot. That doesn't mean she can do this at the D-1 level but, since we need for her to be athletic enough to bring that to our offense, I am very hopeful she can.

I think my favorite part of the previous video was the step back jump shot. That's not a tough move. But, it's a quick way to get yourself open for a clear shot. It's a move we seldom see our players use.

Here is another clip about Morgan which highlights her ability to be aggressive on the offensive end.

I think Morgan and Anna are very similar. They should be interchangeable. Impressed with both of them.

Having watched Chelsea Dungee a few times, I think she will be able to hit that midrange shot pretty consistently. I sure hope so.

I still say the fall-away shot would enhance every players scoring ability. It is what made Jackie Stiles such a prolific scorer.

The move is simple to do. I have no idea why we don't use it to create space.

Agree. I don't follow college or professional men enough to know if they use it, but, as for women, I don't remember seeing anyone besides Stiles shoot the fall away. Is it used on other teams and I just haven't noticed?
