Most excited about with Lon at the helm

What excites you most about having Lon Kruger coaching your Sooners as compared to Jeff Capel?

Mine: Seeing us run an offensive system. I often felt (even with Blake when we were tops in the country) that Coach Capel's offense lacked structure and continuity. I would wonder what we were trying to accomplish in the halfcourt as it seemed like guys would do isolation dribbles and then just jack up shots. I am looking forward to seeing Lon's offensive schemes at OU. I feel like Cam and Bird will really benefit from running a proven system.

I am excited to see how successful he can be at getting folks (mainly students) excited and involved with the program over the next couple of years. He seems like a marketing genius. He also seems to do very well with the media.

Fundamentals. And he'll put complete teams together.

I am exited and hopeful that Neal, Washington, and Newell have an opportunity to excel a bit in Lon's system. I do not expect any of them to be all big 12 next year but believe they can have solid years.

He is a down to earth genuine person!!Everyone i talk to at Sooner Legends in Norman where he & staff have been staying(while looking for houses)say that by far between Lon,Jeff,& Kelvin..he is the greatest!!to be fair kelvin ran a close-second,Capel,I heard stories i will not repeat!!!OU is very fortunate to have Lon K.as its.head basketball coach!!Go Sooners!!!!
