Dang, if he is even half right Arizona made out well. As for Smart he is still rated high enough for just about any program to want.

I don't give anything linked to bleachreport any credability. That said I am not expecting Smart to come in and light things up next year. I just hope he can come in and do some of the little things that go unnoticed. Everything I have heard and seen from him makes me believe he is a winner. That is what OSU needs next year.

On paper oSu has an impressive roster, this should be a good opportunity for Ford to show that he can manage his program effectively. As far as Smart specifically, that report still has him in the Top 20 in the nation...and I wouldn't put too much stock in the McDAA game. Blake barely scored his year and Tiny Gallon was the highest scorer in his year if memory serves.

This year will determine if Ford is similar to Jeff Capel, imo.

He has talented athletes all over the place but can he build a cohesive team out of the parts.

I never even heard of bleachereport until I found this list quite by accident a few days ago. Obviously, some of you are not to high on their work. I just thought it was interesting that Smart was on the list, and not in a good way. Most OU fans, including me, would have been thrilled if he would had picked the Sooners.

Nearly all freshmen who received the accolades he did coming out of high school go through an adjustment period when the reality of a tougher, quicker college game hits them square in the face. Time will tell if Smart will be among that group?

Pretty much.

A lot of it consists of slide shows like this. Occasionally they have "columns" that regurgitate things people read elsewhere. Nothing on that site is produced by people who really know what they're doing (from a journalism or sports point of view). It's like a normal message board, but worse.
