To summarize, Nancy Mulkey indicated she liked OU a lot. Maddie is telling her to come back, like now. Nancy appreciated what Maddie said.

If we could sign her it would be huge for our program.
 
Maybe she will commit with in a few days!
 
I would love to see every OU player post something like Maddie did.
 
This reinforces my entirely uninformed opinion that Maddie is or will be a leader on this team.
 
Well, she does have one advantage. She can shoot set shots and still be above those who are trying to block her shot.
 
I didn't know before tonight but Nancy's Dad is deceased. I don't know if her mother has remarried.

Not sure if all of these posts are related but guessing not. Pam is flying somewhere today but no way to know where or for what purpose. It is good to see Gioya staying in contact with Nancy.

Sure seems like Pam is flying somewhere and she expects "good news" = verbal.
Since there are no more 2015 targets in play at least none that we know about,
must be a 2016 kid asking Pam to visit before making a decision.

I mean OU practices on TV tomorrow so Pam's flying out with an agenda not just regular recruiting.
 
For what it may be worth.. Gabbi favorited Mulkey's "today is going to be soooo exciting" tweet.
 
Not saying it's going to happen.
BUT IF it did.
A Mulkey verbal would be a radical shift in the recruiting landscape.

Pam's now been on staff for ?? 3 years
In today's world of hoops recruiting the 4th year is the start of a group of players that Pam has recruited early enough that she's not trailing others in terms of building rapports etc..
 
I'm not greedy, a Nancy Mulkey and either Lauren Cox or Joyner Holmes and I'm good. :)
 
Aren't they just saying that they are excited that the season is starting? I don't know that Pam would be permitted to fly somewhere to be with her as she verballed?

if mulkey wanted to wait for an inhome visit that would be perfectly legal.

season is starting, but something is up. Pam's on a recruiting flight.
 
Mulkey, Dungee, and Cox were all on that U-17 team, while Penzo was on the Puerto Rico team and made the All-Tournament team along with Cox (Durr, Samuelson, and a Canadian). We can have a FIBA reunion.
 
Could we be seeing a renaissance of the women's basketball program? Dungee and Mulkey alone would be a MAJOR step in the right direction.

When you include Llanusa, I really like what I'm seeing. Obviously, Cox would put us in an elite group.
