Better matchup to have Neal in the game.

Arkansas was quicker and more athletic, and played a frantic pace that Fitz isn't built for.

We usually have our PF inbound the ball against the press, and on the press break they get the ball right back and attack down the floor.

Amath, Osby, and Neal all do this very well (It was on a play like this where Amath got his nasty jam early in the game). Fitz does not do this well at all.

Fitz isn't the type of player you want playing significant minutes against a pressing, franticly-paced team. He's just not quick or athletic enough, cant handle the ball, and isn't a threat on the break like Neal, Osby, or Amath can be.

Lets look at the match-ups a bit before bashing.

Neal is useless.

But we played bad for the most part. Everytome we got close they hit. Big shot. We turned it over a lot and didn't defend well at all. And only lost by three when mbaye should have been going to the line to win it

He is finding his game in his new role, which is what Fitz should do eventually. Neal is not contributing much at all. I think he HAS to knock down shots to get time and he isn't doing that.

Neal's athleticism didn't help him not get abused repeatedly on the defensive end.
He slacked off his man into the paint constantly, and then was overpowered/out maneuvered whenever they did get into the paint on him.

It's ridiculous how much Tyler Neal had played this year based on how little he has contributed. He is an extreme liability on defense and provides no offense. Someone explain to me Kruger's love affair with Neal?

He settles on 3's. As soon as it touches his hands at the top of the key, he doesn't even think about driving to the basket.

He isn't quick enough with the ball to drive to the basket. He's virtually just a warm body out there who can occasionally get hot from three point range.

on a rare occasion i guess. He's had 10 games in his career where he has had multiple threes

Not only did he play more than Fitz he got more minutes than Hield and cousins.

I don't understand why Hield only played 9 minutes.
