going to need the Isaiah that we all know and love and not the befuddled one. Leave the befuddled one behind in Norman! :D

Early in his career if it wasn't going his way he may have deep-sixed the game.

But obviously he's matured a lot, as we saw Saturday with 15 in the 2nd half.

That little slump is over. He ended it in the second half on Saturday.

Isaiah shot over 40% from three point range as both a sophomore and junior. In fact, he shot 45% last season. He averaged 11 or more the last two years. His high shooting percentage and offensive output is not a fluke.

Agreed BT. Need the focused one we saw against nova. I think we see another 17-18 point 6-8 assist game. These guys are jacked!
 
Both he and Buddy tend to get too excited and jacked up and we need them to be under control tonight. They played too quickly Saturday night and that's part of the reason we fell behind the Cyclones. Allen Fieldhouse will be rocking tonight and we're going to need them under control. The young guys -- Lattin, James, Manyang, Buford if he plays -- are going to be jacked and they're going to look to Cousins and Buddy for their leadership.
 
I wonder if he will shake Bill Self's hand after tonights game or do like he did last year and refuse?

I'm sure if we win he will shake hands right?
 
I think he is ultimately our key to the entire season.

When he plays well OU is nearly unbeatable.
 
His ability to come back and play great in the second half on Saturday was just awesome. His FT shooting is also getting much better over the past 5 or 6 games. I think he is going to have a good game. I am more worried about Buddy being cranked up too high to start the game.
 
I hate replying to these kinds of posts because of the backlash I got for my post tourney negative posts but....
You are right. Absolutely! I told a friend the other night if Cousins doesn't find his shot we will probably lose. He can shoot you out of a game.
On the bright side, he is a senior and has been down this road so much. A veteran is what you want and what we have. C'mon Cousins! Go off!
 
Welp. Hope he gets hot again. When he's bad we're not an elite team.
 
Well...it didn't happen. We win in regulation if he shows up. No way around it he was awful

It's a team sport and it's never one player's fault when a team loses. But some people always have to have to have someone to blame.

You took it way too hard. I still think he's a great player, but he was awful tonight, and it hurt us. How can you not say he was bad tonight? It happens, just needed him to come up big

There's a lot of things that could've been done to win that game. Him playing better was one of them. Not blaming solely him, just could've used him tonight
