Yes, Serge's brother. He's a freshman big at NEO. Listed at 6-9 220 per the NEO site.

Averaged 13.7 points and 9.6 rebounds a game as a freshman this year. Blocked 36 shots in 30 games too per these stats......

Wonder if he's on the radar for the Fall signing period? Losing Bennett after next season.

Some brief highlights....

@JucoRecruiting: Impressed with Igor Ibaka (6-8/F) of NE Oklahoma. Four man with a good frame. Younger brother of OKC Thunder's Serge Ibaka.

Thanks, op, Very interdasting.

Wonder if he has a late growth spurt to get closer to serge size

Uh, just found some highlights on YouTube.

HELL YES.

And as a Juco freshman he's not afraid to back it down and score tough buckets in the lane. Ultra athletic too. Offer him yesterday.

Wish they could him in him for next season. That video posted above said Wichita State was already on him. I'd bet OU and OSU will be as well and playing the "Stay-Close-To-Serge-Card".

Must be cool to be an NBA player's brother. He probably drives a BMW and has a credit card with no limit.

Just stalked his twitter. Looks like he hangs out at Serge's place a bunch and indeed has some nice things.

Depends. If we take a non-senior transfer big in this year's class (2014), I don't think there will be room for him in 2015.

He apparently committed to Oklahoma State tonight.

I can't wait to see how long it takes for Ford to run this post off.. I put the over/under at 1 semester.. Probably would take the under too ha

This would certainly make me feel a lot better. I though Igor would be awesome developing under our coaches and running up and down the court in our offense.

If we really didn't offer him, it stings a little but makes me feel a little better about his commitment to OSU. I think he definitely wanted to play at one of the two main D1 schools in Oklahoma to stay near his brother, but boy from a business decision, not sure why any post hoping to make the NBA would go to OSU under Ford. My OSU buddies have already been responding to this about hopefully he will be training under another coach by the time he is playing haha

The problem with Ibaka is that he is Ineligible to play juco this year, might not be eligible to play D1 next year, and is much closer to his ceiling since he will be in his mid-20s by the time he makes it on campus anywhere.
