New Arkansas series in Tulsa

Haha, neutral site...

Laugh if you want, but it’s technically a neutral site. Additionally, the distance and the driving time from Fayetteville, AR and Norman, Ok to Tulsa are almost exactly the same.

The geography lesson is free.

It's pretty neutral. Distance-wise for sure. A lot of Arky fans will make that trip, and the OU fans in Tulsa aren't the type that go to a bunch of games or think of basketball as their primary sport. Crowd will be no worse (for Arky) than 60/40 I wouldn't think.

Hard to get excited about this since it’s a noncon game and, as we all know thanks to the education provided to us by several of our posters, those games are meaningless and shouldn’t even count toward our record. Otherwise, I’d be pretty happy to see us renewing a good regional rivalry.

usc OU game there had a pretty good crowd i am glad we signed this deal

Crutchfield has been taking some subtle shots at Ou I feel.

Arkansas claiming TY and Buddy Hield as top 10 picks.

I know the geography. Just also know Arky fans are more boisterous in Tulsa than OU. OU is 3rd in Tulsa, whether alumni base #s reflect that or not is irrelevant.

I love playing Arkansas in the non-con. Feels like a good regional game.

Cool game. Great idea. I bet we're outnumbered butts in seats.

As a resident of northwest Arkansas and U of A grad, but life-long OU fan this is exciting news.

Norman is about 4 hours away so I don't get to go to many home games but I'll be in Tulsa anytime OU wants to play there, especially against Arky.

The USC game in 2018 was a blast.

I'm good with this. Any neutral site winnable game is usually pretty advantageous to SOS metrics.

I don't know but talk on hog sports radio is that Arkansas basketball is about to get real good again

Have the hogs ever been realistic about their athletic programs?

New coach (who has shown he is a pretty good coach) and some nice recruiting.

I can see them being a consistent top 25 team in the near future.
