We're going to do a separate site for football with free recruiting updates etc. like we do here. It could be up and running this spring, but most likely this summer. But it will definitely be up and running before next season starts. Still looking for the right people (investors, writers, mods etc) to help run it.

This would be a great idea. The layout here is much better than any other ones, and the posters on here don't seem to be as intolerable as the other sites.

I think in the first place this is because it's not a football board. There's a reason I'm a bigger OU bball fan than football fan. Masochism is only part of it.

I'll never forget being in the stands at the cotton bowl back in 02. Nate Hybl had just thrown his second pick of the day which was returned for a score and texas took a 14-3 lead. Some 'neck behind my buddy and I starts screaming "GIT EEM OUTTA DAARR!! BREENG IN THOMPSON!!" At this time Paul Thompson was a true freshman, so my friend and I very politely turned around and told him to please be silent because his suggestion was quite absurd. The Sooners went on to win 35-24 (despite 4 Hybl INT's) and about halfway through the game the gentleman left and did not return.
