Mikeareese got that at 6:43 on the recruiting thread, page two. I must admit that I am very pleased that we did get this one. I liked what I saw, and she has some numbers. I like the fact that she can hit from anywhere, and she moves well. Most girls her size just seem to throw the ball at the rim. She knows what she's doing.

I think it was Roc who said Vionise reminded him of Caton. I think so too. Caton was not the most athletic player we've ever had but she was one of my favorites. Tough, fearless, skilled, and smart. I doubt Vionise will be able to shoot as well as Caton from BTA but she may be as good or better in the paint as she is more athletic. Really good addition to the team.

I really liked what I read about her on full court. "Pierre-Louis was our Full Court unofficial event MVP. Why? Consistency. Game after game, she did her job (posting up hard on offense, hitting some face-up shots, rebounding, making a few high-low passes and finally defending her opposite number at the other end of the court). To cap these off, she led her team with 18 points in the final win over Central Florida Elite 2014. "

Last year Ou was after Kai James and Raigyne Moncrief even got both girls to visit officially, this year it was Pierre-Louis and Penzo and both girls committed to OU. If OU doesn't get a commit from Hillsman I expect them to go after Beatrice Mompremier. She's from Florida and she played AAU with James and Moncrief so I'm sure Pat knows all about her.
