With 3 new players next year (one at end of fall semester) will we begin to change our style of play?
We will have all but our center returning, including lots of seniors who start most or part of the time.
But we will have a freshman center that is 6'9", and younger players that "people say" are more athletic and physical than the players with most of the court time now.
High and Low post players?
More pressure defense with great depth?
Emphasis on drive and either pull-up midrange jumper or dish?
Trap defenses other than the half court 1-3-1?
Less 3's with more athletic players to drive, or more 3's with a big player inside to draw defenses in?
In your face defense like WV and Texas A&M?
I think that our coaches have been successful in the past, but we have an opportunity to evolve into a little different style and wonder what some of our well informed members think.
