Hope everyone gets their shots in this year because next year we're going to be good. Laugh all you want. Being so young is rough I've been there with my HS teams before.

I agree coach, the best things about freshman is they become sophomores, etc.

I do worry about PG, however, I have little confidence in JS or DSM, another PG is vital for next year,

We got 2 studs to build around.

I can only imagine the bigs will be a little better.

If we get solid PG play, we're in the tourney.

I'm in the camp that we will be good next year. I see the talent. It's unbelievable how many bad breaks we have gotten this year. But the talent is there. I hope we can continue to improve. I just hope the record this year doesn't get them down. Whether we get Trae or not, we need to get better scoring the basketball.

Unless you're CJ apparently :facepalm

I agree they'll be better but this team still is like that other group where they've got this monkey on their back for all these close losses. WVU you saw a glimpse of what they can be when they stay level headed at the end of games (Or Woodard just takes over like a true SR. leader).

There are few substitutes for rebounding and it's not just going to materialize out of thin air.

Evans hasn't had the type of year or gotten the kind of attention he needs to go pro... he will be back.

PG: Juwan Evans
SG: Jeff Carroll
SF: Davon Dillard
PF: Cameron McGriff
C: Yankuba Sima (6'11'' center, transfer from St. Johns)

Should be a good team if Evans comes back... I really can't imagine him playing in the NBA. Doesnt look like a 1st round pick to me.

As for OU, they need some immediate impact guys... need to get a little older too.

Go find a Mike Neal and a Taj Gray. They are out there.

True. That was my biggest concern coming into this season, but Lattin, McNeace, and especially Doolittle will have another year of experience. We also have a space eater coming with Hannes Polla..... hopefully a summer of practices will help him with the speed of the game adjustment.

Also, we need a PG ...... the most important position in college basketball. Someone to run the offense. They don't necessarily have to be a scorer, but do have to be able to make the other players better.

I agree, point guard is definite need. But, does no one think Shepard can continue to develop into one? I mean he had a great game against Memphis (18 points with 0 turnovers) and honestly a great one against Auburn. I really like his size (slightly shorter than cousins) and has a pretty good looking shot, mechanically speaking. He gave me a lot of hope after the Memphis and Auburn game that there is something there. He just needs more game experience and confidence as all of the young guys do.

How about baby steps? How about Lattin and McNease striving to get the same amount of rebounds combined as Doolittle snags all by himself?

OU should be better next year, how much better remains to be seen. I thought earlier that OU could make the NCAA or NIT next year, not so sure now. Sometimes players get better but that doesn't mean the team gets better.

Phil Forte outrebounded Khadeem!... Inexcusable man

Agreed. I can't even make up an excuse for Khadeem and Jamuni. Two rebounds combined for a 6' 9" and a 6' 10" big? Are you kidding me???!! That is beyond embarrassing!

Rebounding is 70% hustle and wanting the ball more than the next guy. That says a lot for what Lattin and McNeace did last night, or I should say, failed to do.
