She played poorly the first half but really helped win it in the second half. She would benefit greatly if she would stop putting the ball on the floor and when she grabs a rebound, bring it down like she means it! She loses half or more of the rebounds she gets her hands on by being weak with the ball.

When they are mugging you and nothing gets called, Nicole is going to have to learn to swing a few elbows into some guts and chins and that's going to stop that crap.

It's clear that the horrific officiating we have in the women's game is going to lead to more intense, physical play and we are going to have to get meaner and tougher.

I thought Nicole saved us in the second half. I wondered if she was backsliding in the first, but the jump hook at the end of the first half seemed to ignite.

I agree, be strong and don't put the ball back on the floor. Go straight up and draw the foul. It also would help if people like Jazmine and Sharane would stop passing the dang ball at her shin level.

This isn't just for Nicole but for everyone, a pump fake occasionally would work great!

Thank you Oliver and Norm. We have talked about this, like forever. What has happened to solid basic fundamentals. I saw two pump fakes tonight and both were from Jo. Though Nicole indeed played better the second half, she as well as the whole team have got to get tougher and meaner if they have any chance to have a "successful season". There are way too many Big 12 teams that will clean our clocks if we don't show more toughness on the floor. This is the second game in a row that we have been out coached against, in my opinion, lesser talent, but absolutely more solid in fundamentals than the Sooners. Our kids aren't idiots but they sure are not playing very smart right now.
