Now what

Ha. And again Norman........ You can't seem to figure out there is more to the game than points scored- not to mention, Im not too high on Chelsea coming in and averaging 9 a game as a freshman like Maddie did this season- which I predicted at the beginning of the year will greatly increase by next season- furthermore, theres that whole defense thing- where Maddie has to guard players like Nina, to players like Coleman for OSU- You think Chelsea has the length athleticism and size combination to come in and get that done? No, and she shouldn't be asked to- And Won't be asked to. she'll be playing 2 maybe 3 at times. Probably won't play much, at least early because there will be good players with experience ahead of her.

Maddie is near the lead in every statistic they keep for the team and she's technically a sophomore... You oughta take an offseason and figure out why she leads us in minutes played- Im guessing theres a reason.

Davis scored 15 points while shooting almost 60% from the field. Maddie certainly didn't shut her down.

Maddie does NOT lead the team in minutes played, Peyton does. Do you just make this stuff up???

Well, apparently, you do. You need to go back and check the statistics on Maddie and T'Ona.

I agree Davis has looked avg vers most teams, but she is a walking double double vs OU...

Also I like Ortiz and Little is my favorite Sooner on the team, but both kids didn't have a good year...

Little can do a some of everything on the court, but I'm sure coming in to the season she was near the top of the other teams scouting report, and often had the other teams best defender on her, without a lot of counter move/ lack of athleticism she's had a ruff year...

Ortiz was Freshman of the year last year and making an all big 12 team should have been the next step for her... I know people are saying USAB could have had something to do with her slump, but I think the guard going to Uconn, was in at the end of most of the games...

I thought it was the opposite (referring to the U-19 games). I thought the guard that went to UConn was the better scorer, but that they brought in Gabbi to settle the team down, control the ball, and protect a lead (better free throw shooter). I only saw one game and am going by a story that I saw.

I agree. It's hard to explain why Maddie, Peyton, and Gabbi all struggled the way they did in the last several games. They generally played better early in the season but had a difficult time as we got into conference play.

)kay- so Had maddie of not of gotten hurt- she would have lead the team in total minutes played. Im sorry, i got used to checkin the after game stat sheet and seeing Maddie had by far the most pt- forgetting early in the year when Peyton played every minute, and also the times Maddie sat, due to injury. I apologize. As it stands she played 2 less minutes a game than Peyton did throughout the season. 28-30 a game. So You really stuck it to me Norm, I don't have a stats sheet taped to my desktop, but maybe I'll have to get that done. Anyway, Go figure why Maddie averages 28 mins a game, played 30+ every game she was healthy. That can be your offseason task.

Also In the meantime, research how to defend pick and rolls- and transition Defense. Then watch the game, and come back and tell me how many points Maddie actually gave up to Nina Davis that were a direct result of not being able to guard Nina Davis.

I guess I miss your premise, are you trying to deny that Maddie is a really good defender? Because that would probably be the dumbest thing you've said since you got on this board. And for the record, you don't shut down players like that, like every good player says- you hold them to their averages you did a good job... Are you under the impression that Dungee could walk in and get that done right now?? ha. Get out of here.
