###Oklahoma [14-3, 4-2] vs. Oklahoma State [12-6, 2-4] Gameday Thread###

Young has become the last 4 or 5 games what I feared he would be from day 1 . An AAU kid looking for his own shot every trip .
Early in the season he made every player around him better , now it’s just the young show .

Agree

Doo, CJ, RO, and Manek were 10/35. But yes, that was the worst end game with actual time play I have seen in quite awhile

Why didn't James just start down the floor instead of waiting to get it to Trae??

The basketball IQ of some of our players really hurts this team.

One of the bad aspects of building an offense around Trae is the other 4 become too dependent on Trae to take the lead and forget there was less than 6 seconds on the clock.

But from my perspective Trae made so poor decisions at the end of regulation and in OT that significantly contributed to this loss.

Yup lolol

I half expected him to drop it off his knee.. kruger needs to pick it up

Teammates need to pick it up.......

Trae shoots 36% when the other team knows that he is going to shoot most of the shots. And scored 48 points.

The team as a whole shoots 34.5%. They should have and did have open shots and couldn't hit them.

Teammates needed to finish today and couldn't.....

Doolittle’s poor play was a big factor late in the game and in OT IMO.

The two bunnies that Doo missed there at the end of regulation really hurt. I was hoping he would throw the ball back out to run clock after he missed the first......and the front end he missed hurt.

Trae is going to make some bad decisions.....but of all the players on the floor, he makes more good ones than any of the others.

Ya hes awesome.. but you also shoot better when youre taking all of them vs. Getting sparse shots and not being in a rythmn

Everyone needs to improve..

Because Kruger told him to get it to trae...I would imagine.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.......the play drawn up by Kruger wasn' there. He has to think on his feet.

The worst thing about Trae is that his game doesn't travel well. He's not going to get a lot of the calls when he's fouled driving to the basket or while he's shooting a layup. At home, he will get more of those calls. How many of the
39 shots should have been Trae shooting free throws?

Doolittle HAS to play well for OU to get where they want to be. He's more complete than any other options at the 4.

Agree 100%. I believe he is, by far, the most well-rounded player on the team (Trae aside). I would like to see him more involved on the offensive end, but I still think he is adjusting for all of the time he had missed. He brings a component (toughness, rebounding) that this team needs more of.

Totally agree

I thought he was our best defender and rebounder today

Kruger saw something to keep him out there in crunch time

I'm all for keeping Doolittle out there. And he did rebound well today, but he also missed some bunnies and the front end of a crucial one-and-one in the last few minutes. He can play a lot better offensively than he did today.

He was really hurt before that 1-and-1

I thought they were considering removing him

He just isn't back yet to the guy we saw last year - still very tentative at times but he has to step up going forward for this team to accomplish any of it's goals. He should be our 2nd best player.

Tentative offensively but getting after it on other end
