We have devolved into a below average shooting team. We score a lot because we take a lot of shots and get to the FT line, but our efficiency (without the points from the FT line) has been quite poor throughout conference.

Regardless of the outcome of this game. What is frustrating about this season for me is how it has been the opposite of what I expected. I assumed this team would play like this in the first half of the season as they adjusted to 2 freshmen in the lineup & Trae's game. The defense would be weak while they learned to play together. And then they would have gelled and played this last half of the season with the offense clicking & better team defense. But they came out on fire in the first half ... peaked ... and have digressed in every facet of the game in the back end of the schedule. Very frustrating!

I’m not saying he needs twenty minutes, but when Manek has been this bad on offense and is always the worst defender on the court, why not give Freeman a shot?
He’s a bigger body, a better defender (I’m not saying he’s a good defender, just better than Manek) and Brady clearly has the yips and has for awhile.

Teams are much smarter about defending us now. You force OU to beat you off the dribble and you don’t give easy kick outs to the wings. Even with that we are still missing a lot of good looks. We have to shoot better in this half.
In the game at Texas we got a lot of easy buckets but Texas learned their r lesson on that.

We have to break 30% from 3 sometime right ? Seems like every single game during this losing streak we ve been below 40% from the field and 30% from 3.
Gut check time if we don’t win this game not sure how the rest of the season will play out. Texas is just a bad team, probably worst in the Big 12 right now and we re right above them if that.

With no inside scoring to speak of. You put a athletic guard on Trae and try to get the ball out of his hands protect the 3 point line. Enough film is out now its happening every game.

Soooo many assists that our guys don’t finish on. TY should average about 15 assists if anyone would finish. Like Vitale said the guys next year he is setting up will finish.
