Boucher is one of the top shot blockers in college basketball. He is, most definitely, an inside force.

Also noticed they allow their opponents to shoot nearly 36% from 3. Not the greatest of perimeter d.

I usually defer to basketball players over athletes but you can never tell..

I guess I mean more like a Davis typed of guy where he can kill us down low offensively. Not as worried about him offensively with us being more about taking jump shots.

They haven't played near the schedule we played. Not Close. Watching this game. This has got to be the worst Duke team I have ever seen. Can't shoot and they don't have any depth . Oregon shame is inside and offensive rebounds. Not that great outside. Our guards should have a field day if their playing well. We just beat the regular season SEC champs.

The best thing about playing Oregon is first we get a team(aTm) who shouldn't have been playing us to begin with had the biggest meltdown ever not occurred and then you get the #1 seed with only 1 day to prepare for Buddy Hield. I just don't think you can prepare for him in one day. aTm had 3 days and it really showed. If Hield is making shots, I don't think this game will be close.

Not true at all

I suppose it depends on what you consider a "real 3 pt shooting threat," but it is true when you compare them to our "real" 3-pt shooting threats of Hield, Woodard, and Cousins.

They only have one guy, Dorsey, who shoots over 40% from 3...and he's made the most 3's on their team with 66. Brooks had a good game from 3 last night and he's shot the second most 3's on their team, but he's at 34.3% on the season. Benson might be considered their second best 3-pt shooter, but he's only made 34 on the season at 37%, which is only 2 more or 3.6% better than Spangler. I don't think we'd consider Spangler a 3-pt shooter...although he can shoot 3's at times.

UO likes to shoot 3's, but they don't appear to be very efficient at shooting them. UO season stats

The other takeaway I have from watching Duke several times this season, including last night, is that they aren't very good defensively...and that may stem from their lack of depth. It's amazing how many easy shots they gave up to UO, both in transition and in the half-court. Their Adjusted Defensive Efficiency rank has hovered around 110-115 for a while now, sitting at 113 currently, and it showed last night.

Perimeter heavy, play outside in. Size wise, they are comparable to us so not sure where the "small" designation is coming from, maybe a little longer and more length. Brooks is built like a linebacker at 6'6".

Key is to get up on them early, they don't play well from behind. St Joes withstanding, they've been playing real well lately.

It might be worth noting that the Ducks have 5 players that made 34 or more 3 pointers. OU has 3. Spangler did make 32. The Sooners did make 108 shots BTA for the season.

During the NCAA tournament Oregon is 22-67 BTA for .328 and OU ia 30-71 for .423. We definitely need to win the battle behind the line Saturday and rebound, rebound, rebound.

Their athleticism frightens me the most. They can be very very explosive, and they showed it last night. However, that might be because they were playing a pretty soft Duke team. I think A&M is better than Duke this year too.

Teams have been scaring OU fans the entire season. I'm just glad Kruger's boys have refused to buy in.
