Don't know about the rest of you but if Romero Osby told me to yell in the Great Reading Room during dead week then I would probably do it. I think he can be a leader by fire much like Blake scared Willie Warren into being a team guy while they played together.

I am ready for the Ro Show!

I just hope he is the player that everyone thinks he will be.

I think you may be right, BigTime. We'll know more when conference play begins in 8-9 months.

I will say this about Osby...I am tired of hearing about him and ready to see him in action. I mean this in a positive way because if he is as good as advertised, he will be fun to watch.

I will also say I like his attitude the last few weeks. If everybody sticks, I think you can point to him as keeping everybody together. That's not to take anything away from YoYo or anybody else on the team, but it sounds like Romero is the leader of our team. It also appeared that way from the Kruger press conference when he was named HC.

I hope Romero is encouraging the guys to stick around this summer and work their butts off for next season. I would guess that he is doing just that.

Agreed, BOB. And I believe that was BigTime's point – that Osby seems to want to take on the role of a team leader, even if he's not able to fulfill the very lofty expectations everyone seems to have for him as a player.

Oh, and I do believe a guy can be a leader without necessarily being the best player on a team.

According to a former OU coach, the best situation is when your best player is also the hardest working player; the team leader. If Osby fits this description, then that will help a lot next season.

Frankly, I can't wait to see the team next season. Optimism is renewed.
