They were an extremely tough team this year. The exact opposite of us. They had great size in the backcourt and wings. Then McGriff was super tough at the 4 and Soloman would battle all day long.

Their coach did a good job with a pretty poor roster. Wonder who he will be coaching next year.

And lost 14 games, many against non Sweet 16 teams

Can we have a separate forum for all the OKie Lite Lovers!!Go Sooners!!

Let me guess. We should model our program after the pukes?

I don’t like the trend of Lon losing to the last 2 Aggie coaches 2 times a year. Underwood 2-0 now this guy is 2–1 over Lon. That’s totally unacceptable.

We did slaughter them by 20 in Norman and they had to go to overtime in Stoolwater to beat us (with a bad call as Soloman slid 15 feet with no traveling call if you remember). Yes they beat us by 11 in KC but I’d like everyone to remember that we killed them in Norman and in reality won the game in Stoolwater if the refs could actually call a big time travel IMO.

Don’t tell me we’re counting should have wins like the Aggies did against Central Michigan in football now. We were better and let the pukes steal that game. It shouldn’t have been close enough to have the refs give it to them.

You know they changed that rule right?

You act like they magically changed the criteria on March 11th. They knew what they had to do going into the season just like everyone else. They didn't get it done. They had an RPI in the 90's.

Shine and Sima both announced they won't be back next year. With Averette transferring they are way down on numbers, like maybe 8 guys on scholarship counting their signees. Boynton has his recruiting work cut out for him this spring just to have enough guys to practice.

Someone put ABD on suicide watch.

Haha... This does put them in a tough position. If the season started today they would look like this:

PG: Michael Weathers (6'2'' 170)
-Transfer from Miami of Ohio... Led the Redhawks in scoring (16.7 ppg), assists (4.8 apg), steals (1.9 spg) and blocks (1.4 bpg), and was third on the team in rebounding (4.2 rpg). Led the MAC in blocked shots. Weathers was the only freshman in the nation to average at least 16 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 blocks per game.

SG: Curtis Jones (6'4'' 175)
-Transfer from Indiana... #69 overall player out of high school. Averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds per game as a true freshman for the Hoosiers. Supposed to be a good shooter. Had 15 against KU.

SG: Lindy Waters (6'6'' 205)
-Averaged 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game as a sophomore.

PF: Cameron McGriff (6'7'' 220)
-Averaged 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist per game as a sophomore. 85% foul shooter and can hit 3's as well. Nice player.

PF/C: ?????

They have a couple of forwards committed but both would be true freshman... They struck out on Antun Maricevic, who ended up going to South Florida.

Losing Shine and Sima really hurts them for next year... Shine was their best defender and a 10ppg scorer. Sima was just a tall athletic guy but was still going to be a major piece.

They are basically in the same position as OU now... While OU has gaps at point guard OSU has gaps in depth and post players.
