Patton at OSU leads the country in assists with 9.6 per game. Impressive!

Kaylee Jensen looks like a different player this season. She runs the floor so well for her size. She's got good footwork and has added some nifty post moves.

Martin has a beautiful jump shot. She really elevates and extends her arms straight upward which makes it almost impossible to block her shot.

Yes, Martin is an excellent player. And Jensen has done well tonight.

I'm not sure how good WSU is (they look pretty weak), but this is the kind of game that will be helpful to OSU by the end of the year. A major conference foe and a nice win. So much better than a 2nd or 3rd level non-conference foe.

I don't think WSU is all that good but it is still a good win in front of the home crowd, even though attendance appears low.

Their point guard is quick. Sherri may choose to play T'ona a lot, primarily for her quickness and defensive ability. I don't think Gabbi matches up well with her.

Attendance is terribly weak. I don't understand why athletic departments don't (on games like this - especially on holidays) offer $1 tickets and a half price concession coupon.

For heavens sake - there is nothing to lose. You might pick up a few thousand bucks - and have someone in the stands - and who knows, maybe even motivate a few folks to come back later in the year.

I could not agree more!

Is there a player in the Big 12 who is playing better than Martin is right now?

I'm not certain if she is or not, but I do enjoy watching her play.

I haven't seen all the teams play yet but, I haven't seen anyone with a better all around game. I doubt if she can continue this pace but she looks really good right now.
