Playing a poor team but the Sooners are playing at warp speed. Carter, Edwards very impressive. Vegas with 4 or 5 treys. If you are not there or watching on TV you are missing something.

I am out of town with no access to FCS Central. An occasional score would be appreciated.

And the scoring continues... 78-19 2:30 into the 2nd half.

This is all without the senior point guard too. Freshmen guards r keepers.

80-21 15:55 left

86-32 half way thru the 2nd. We had 4 freshmen in together and it turned into slow and sloppy. Now we have 3 freshmen in and we are playing much better. Free throws r a bugger tonight.

Nothing in Dallas. We did see the UT/OU volleyball match (UT 3-1).
Post-game show is free----if it ever starts. On SoonerVision.

If you didn't see the post-game conference, it was Sherri, Sharane, and Aaryn. It was difficult to hear, and we didn't hear the questions at all. Sherri said that we played well in the first half, but we got a little sloppy in the second half, missing lots of free throws. We began with good offense, passing. We had good defense. But, when we played mostly freshmen in the second half, we didn't put it together as well.

T'Ona was about as good in her first game as any freshman she has had. Seemed like she wasn't a freshman. Carter showed why Sherri is excited about her. Shaya does little things that win games. Derica had a nice game.

Vegas was mentioned as shooting well. Said she was open due to good passing and movement. Derica passed up some open shots, which Sherri will address. Sharane spoke of how good the defense was.

Fairly non-specific.

Sherri said in the post game carter has a sore foot so she played limited minutes. Loved her minutes tho. Can't wait til they get up against some real competition.

I thought T'ona was amazing. She looked like she had been playing with these girls for two years not four months. You can tell she likes being the play maker, and really did not force a lot of opportunities. Excellent court vision. Derica is a gamer. Follows her shot, has a nice stroke, and not afraid to mix it up. Another nice addition to the team. Gioya too showed some toughness and will help this team. Even though they played a weak opponent, the girls ran well. I liked the filling of lanes and the spacing during the game. These kids are pretty smart and played well in the first half. Gibbs has very good foot work, but is a raw athletic talent. If she hangs in, she can be a pretty decent player. I wouldn't bet against her. There is a lot to like about this team. I am looking forward to the stiffer competition and see how the kids shake out.

I'm glad to have the evaluation. I've seen little describing the newcomers other than a couple of practice reports.

Edwards, Carter and Wyatt all seem to have good court vision and awareness. Carter and Edwards play at a very fast pace but seem to be pretty well under control.

All three play good defense keeping their feet in front of the opponent.

Still, hard to really evaluate against poor competition. Next exhibition should tell us more.

I was pleasantly surprised watching T'Ona during the scrimmage a week or so ago. I also saw her when Northeast played in the high school championship and although I thought T'Ona was good, I thought Williams was a better player. I think that T'Ona and LaNeisha are going to be really good players for OUr team and are both going to prove to be great finds by Sherri. Don't know who else recruited these two but I'm sure glad we got them!

I have heard the same thing, that LaNeisha maybe the steal of Sherri's commitmnets. T'Ona surprised me too at the scrimmage. She and Peyton were my highlights and agree with you, I am sure glad we got her and Williams coming next season.
