OU and Mizzou are battling for Tarik Black (6'7'' 230)

Tarik Black is a four star recruit out of Memphis, who already has offers from Alabama, Memphis, Baylor, and Arkansas. However, he said that OU and MU are close to offering him. he said he will be in contact with the OU coaching staff to confirm an offer.

I am surprised that Capel didn't get on him earlier. It made me think that we wouldn't be recruiting the kid. Looks like a good player.

Great athlete, good skills, big offers... Must be a nice player.

Hopefully Capel will offer and land him for 2010.

Doubtful this late in the game, but I will never rule Capel out. I would guess that he would be Memphis' to lose.
