**********OU-Baylor Game Thread**********

No coincidence that Pledger is playing better with Grooms getting more PT, IMO. Grooms delivers the ball a little better than the frosh guards do.

Man. 13 point game now. Still some time on the clock. We need to open this up a bit more to make sure it does not get a little nervy

No. The only play that was reviewed was when our guy got two teeth knocked out as far as I remember (which was obviously not a foul, just a freak play).

The rule VERY SPECIFICALLY states "contact with the elbow." Clark's elbow was never within a foot of Jackson's head.

For these officials, elbow is spelled 'shoulder'. We haven't played as well in the second half, but the officials have had a huge pity party for Baylor.

At what point in the history of time will OU ever get a home court advantage from the officials?

Can we get a review for a flagrant on the Grooms drive?

Grooms has 22 pts. He's 14 of 15 from the line. :clap

Let's hope his injury is minor.

How about a game where OU gets 38 free throws to the opponent's 16? Would that count?

That was mostly grooms fault. He pushe off with that left hand.

Not to this group of OU fans.

Ridiculous. Apparently we're the only team in America that never gets a call.

Not sure if you've been watching the game or just looked at the box score.
Baylor was turning it over and then tackling us every possession in the first half, leading to the disparity. And then intentionally fouling for the last 5 minutes to try and make up ground.

He extended his left arm, but only after there was contact with Austin down near his hip that knocked him off balance.

I would love a couple of possessions where we run some clock. Let's get this thing over

Hornbeak is MUCH better as a SG, rather than a PG. Should be a solid scorer for us in the next few years.

All right, looks like that may be it.
Good games for the most part all around.
Not a great second half. Gotta be able to maintain focus in games like this a little better.
