**********OU-Baylor Game Thread**********

We can hate the rule all we want, but that kind of play is exactly why it was put in place. And it was called correctly today. Clark has to be more careful there. Simple as that.

No, it was put in play for swinging elbows. That was not an elbow. He was making a basketball move and caught him with his upper arm.

We're doing every thing we can to let them back in the game. Come on Sooners, time to sweep the leg.

Disagree. Cam was trying to "clear space". It wasn't a basketball move, b/c he didn't do anything off of it. He recentered the ball.

That was a terrible call. Clark's shoulder hit the guy while Clark was making a basketball move. Terrible.

I understand why the rule is there and I don't mind it but I hate the fact that teams can ask for reviews. It invites flops and tactics I don't like. Let the refs call it if they see it and they can go to the review if they are not sure.

I think the team challenge should only be for Flagrant 2.

It was put into place so guys could graze their faces against an opponent's shoulder and then fall to the ground like they'd been shot? Weird.

Why do you feel the need to exaggerate? He wasn't grazed. There was solid contact there.

Geez.

Geez.

He was barely touched. There was virtually zero momentum from Cam's shoulder. His head jerked back in the opposite direction that natural momentum from contact would have taken it. Jackson is a flopper, and he got the call because of the stupid rule.
You should not be able to review a foul unless a foul was called.

I see that ESPN still feels we have no bad losses.

If he flopped, they wouldn't have called it.

Didn't somebody flop on OU in an earlier game, they reviewed it, and no foul was called? Yes.

eggsactly!

No. The only play that was reviewed was when our guy got two teeth knocked out as far as I remember (which was obviously not a foul, just a freak play).

The rule VERY SPECIFICALLY states "contact with the elbow." Clark's elbow was never within a foot of Jackson's head.
