OUHoops Diehards out here so quick to give up and stop believing in our OWN...:facepalm. We haven't even got past the first month let alone first major
game of quality competition! 2 weeks ago then subject of Hield was emphatically implied what a gift he is to OU now we throwing the towel in.... IMHO We still have a chance to play for third place. I for one will continue to believe in my Sooners and you never know after all you never know what the future holds.. I bet few believed Alabama would lose to Texas A&M..

We are young and should make big leaps over the course of the season. Still, when you get your rear end handed to you by anyone people are always going to be negative. I think the tone here is way better than it would be if this was football board after a loss. I'll say this too: if you are regularly posting on this board after the handful of bad seasons, then I don't think anyone can accuse you of being a fan without faith.

Anybody who has is even paying attention to the abysmal team we have been running out there the past 3 years is a true fan.

It's pretty much a total waste of time to watch.

LOL I was looking for the "like" button

Ah. So you are only "active fans" if we are good.

I think there is a name for that.

Let me just put it this way- if you were related to Lon Kruger or a grandparent or sibling to any of the players would you be so quick to talk about giving up on them and this years a bust! We do need to give our team 'constructive criticism' but also believe that they can improve and make us proud. We don't want our team to hang their heads low and BELIEVE THEY ARE A BUST just because that's what the fans are saying...

Anyone else find it ironic that this thread was started by someone named "Respect is earned?"

I guess Bocabull didn't watch today. Sure he didn't want to waste his time.

Why do we need to give our team constructive criticism? Which of us is even qualified to give that criticism? Exactly who are we giving this constructive criticism too? Surely you don't believe Lon Kruger and his staff are reading our opinions and running the team based on them.

I think some on here believe the coachs are reading everything they say :o

There are way too many on here that get too high on the highs and too low on the lows. It's best to stay even keeled. Knee jerk reactions are the norm around here. One day Amath M'Baye is overrated and nowhere close to what anyone thought he was going to be and the next day he's being named the Big 12 rookie of the week and puts up 19 points.

Lon Kruger, probably the most 'even keeled' coach there is! Glad we have him!

:clap
