Jordan played very well throughout the game. His lack of size hurts him against bigger opponents and I thought he managed the game well. Buddy was off tonight, it seemed he couldn't get even the wide open 3's to fall. Tough one for Spangler to end on that. I thought he should've gone up and dunked it but hopefully that will fuel the fire for next week.

Agreed. If OU weren't playing, and watching two different teams, I would say really good game. When your team loses, it's always easy to nitpick, and what if this and that.

Just a tough loss.

Tough finish. Not gonna bash Spangler for missing. should have made it but oh well. But my real beef is with our bench. They've been absolutely horrible lately. And I think that's being kind. If we continue to try and play with no bench help we're gonna be done by this time next week. I think Lon is gonna have to think real hard about his sub pattern. We can't afford to have a 2 man team on the court next week.

This one hurt. If someone had told me that we would out offensive board them 16-7 and overal outboard them 43-27, I'd have said we win. Wow, just wow.

By the way, I see you're from Blackwell. I used to live in Ponca City. One of my daughter-in-laws went to HS in Blackell. OSU grad but we still like her.

OU was victim of losing the ball going up for a shot twice tonight, once when ? pulled up for a short jumper around the free throw line and the other when Spangs lost it going up for a bunny. Both freak occurrences, the stars just seemed to align against us.

That was some gritty basketball we played we in the second half. Really gritty. We finally showed the will to win for an extended period of time. Just couldn't hit many shots. Tough loss.

Exactly right. Missed some open looks that we often hit and had bad luck on a few balls that slipped out of our hands.

Booker has disappeared. Seems as if something has gotten in his head whether it's the supposed academic problems or the sae deal. We really need his offense off the bench. I thought Lattin had a decent game. Walker has been disappointing

Real good game EXCEPT the loss, lol. One word in the future for Spangler DUNK. ESPN guys both said that. If you are 6'8" and under the basket by yourself give it all you got and Dunk that sucker with BOTH hands. A lot safer. That being said there is not much difference between these two teams and i think both should be a 3 seed but we won't. Like playing in Ames though. At least we didn't pee down our leg tonight like we did in Ames. We should do well in the tourney - would be nice to make the sweet 16

Tough loss tonight. The guys fought hard against a very good team in a hostile environment. It sucks to lose on a play like that, but that is how basketball goes sometimes. If we get this type of effort next weekend, we will be in the sweet 16. Disappointed but encouraged.

You have to realize the play took a long time and he doesn't know how much time is left when he catches the pass so he is trying to get the shot out of his hands quickly.

My bet is that the clock was in his head (wasn't sure where it stood) and was afraid to take the extra half second to dunk. Therefore, I think he just rushed it and it slipped out when he did.

I truly hope he doesn't feel bad about it and forgets it. It has happened to all of us in some way or another.

If you hold something dear to your heart, such as Sooner basketball, then good for, but what does it matter if others do as you do or not? Do you feel like you become more of a fan when you proclaim someone else isn't a fan?

If you are consuming a hamburger at a hamburger joint what is the relevance as to whether the individual sitting at the table adjacent to you is enjoying the grub more or less than you? Does it cause your taste buds to respond in a different manner than they would otherwise behave.

After chowing down the burger you find yourself at a hardware store to replace a power tool which went on the fritz. While choosing which tool to purchase you notice another store patron eyeing the very same tool. Does it matter to you whether the other person cherishes power tools more or less than you.

I'm not picking on you, but am curious what is the true relevance of whether this person qualifies as a fan in your estimation or not. There seems to be plenty of the "I am but you're not" on this board and just wonder who really cares as how can it possibly change the things true to your heart.

Just watched the game on replay via ESPN3. Tough loss and feel badly for our kids, Ryan in particular. Sad to see the negative comments, they're not deserved. Kid has been a blessing and strong contributor for our team the past two seasons. No one man wins or loses a game, only a team can do those things. Gotta pick it up and press on to the tournament. Let's make a nice run to finish the year strong!
