I LOVE their movement in this offense. Good cuts, crisp passes, and decisive shots. It's no wonder this is the most effective offensively OU has been in years and years.
K-State makes their living on the defensive end. If you jump on them like we did today, you really take them out of their game. They are not a come-from-behind team. They would much rather play a half-court, grind type of game. Having said that, they certainly don't have their normal energy. But that is a credit to us. We were focused today.
I think we played well and we are tough to beat when our shots are falling and when we play with good defensive intensity. I felt like we got good looks the first time we played them. It just looks a lot better when the shots are falling
On D we match up well against KSU because we can switch and they don't have anyone to really hurt us at the rim. I worry about this when we play KU on Monday because we are susceptible to the lob at the rim and we do not match up well against them inside.
It is funny now to listen to people say we are a hard team to press. I remember that game at Cincy a few years ago when we had that big lead and then collapsed against their press. What a difference a few years of coaching can make.
