*******OU-Kansas State Game Thread*******

We had a few bad defensive possessions but they also got red hot. Funny how teams do that when they are behind and feel like nothing to lose.

Yeah, I mean the only chance for KSU is to keep drilling threes.

The first 15 minutes was the best defense we've had all year! Great to see and what we need to pull off the upset at Phag Allen

Welll...the mini-tide has been stemmed. K-State with two straight possessions of bad shots. Another thing I like is that we are making our free throws down the stretch. But this will be a teachable moment for Lon. If you lose your edge for even a few minutes against a good team....a lead can start disappearing.

Why does it feel like no matter the score or the opponent all the announcers seem to talk about is the promise of the other program

A fan of neither team did not see that as a bad half by OU. The best of teams let down a little and watch the clock; and they got red-hot as well. People who say they got it to 11 are right but they leave out the part about the clock. We did what we needed to do. We all would have taken a 13 point win before tipoff!

When we were hustling on defense, we shot well. When K-State picked up their defense, they shot well. They hit over fifty percent from three, and we won. We lacked intensity in the second half, and after getting up by 27, we just coasted.

That first half had some intense defense, best work I've seen in years.

Exactly! There can't possibly be anything bad about a game we won by double digits. The game was never in doubt.

I knew K-State was going to make a run at some point. The biggest surprise to me is that it didn't come until the final minutes. They're too good to beat by 20 or more going away. I see nothing wrong with that win!

Dang you guys are complaining ?!

We just routed a dang good team !!! PAYBACK !!

K-State came into the game leading the Big Twelve in Three-point field goal percentage defense (299). We hit ten of twenty-three, raising that to 312, enough to put them behind Tech at 311, depending on the OSU/Tech game.

It really is insane how much better every single player on the roster is this year vs. last year, with the possible exception of Je'Lon.

You're obviously kidding. Jelon has improved almost as much as our other guards. Injuries are what impeded his progress earlier this season.

that was not a crap half.

geeez ... some OU fans are so annoying.
