*******OU-Louisiana Tech Game Thread*******

And another wide open 3, 14 point lead is now down to 2...every game its the same old plot haha

Have we closed out a first half strong once this season?

For those who did not watch the first half, it's kind of like almost every game thus far. We come out looking great and get out to a double digit lead and then limp into the locker room. Woodard, Hield and Clark did not have their best halves, but Cousins really stepped up early as well as Booker. Mankin got some minutes and was fairly productive as he leads our team in assists at the half. Hope they turn it around for the 2nd half or ill be starting the new year with a sour taste. Boomer!

Attrocious perimeter defense the last 3 minutes of the half. We should probably be used to this by now. This team plays well for most of the half.....then lets down and the lead dissolves almost instantly. The only thing we are consistent on defensively this year is letting our opponents have wide open 3s. Every opponent we have played has had wide open 3s throughout all of our games this year. If they make 40-50% of those 3s, we are usually in for a nailbiter. It's a defensive scheme flaw....and it drives me crazy.

Seems every other team in the conference has improved considerably from the start of the year while we've just been satisfied with the status quo. Some of these defensive problems should have improved by now.

This is not a comfortable game to watch. I really hope this isn't SFA the 2013 version. Ill stay optimistic that they'll pull away late

we are improving. we're just not there yet.

At times, we looked improved...while other times, we look like we've regressed. I can't argue with our record. However, while we have some ok wins, we've also struggled with some very mediocre to bad teams.

These refs are garbage.

Hield tackled on one end, no call. Then guy shoots three steps after a foul on the other end and it's shooting?
And again!?
