*******OU-Louisiana Tech Game Thread*******

Clark pulls up on a 3 on 1, misses, they go down and hit a 3 to tie, about to be losing after a TO and foul...

I don't know if I've ever seen a team more prone to letting the other team go on a massive run.

He is usually money on that pull-up and the defense was sagged but yeah, I wasn't thrilled by that either.

The next five teams we play are better than this Tech team. Reality is coming for our team.....

What is this team's defensive philosophy?
It seems to be occasionally double half-heartedly, but just enough that you leave the guy you were supposed to be guarding wide open for a shot.

Playing scared on the offensive end. No one is wanting to take the outside shot. :facepalm

What I don't get is why the hell do we never call a timeout? They are obviously gassed and they go on a huge run (like every game) and still no time-outs are ever called? Are we saving all of them for the last minute? I just don't understand it

Agree 100%. We have been showing our flaws all season, but tonight we are getting exposed a little more. I have grave concerns about the opening part of our conference schedule.

Just falling apart late.

Has anybody counted the number of layups we have missed in this game?
Ugly loss. Ugh.

I said this team had a ton of heart, but there is no fight in this dog tonight. Likely another terrible loss in non conference and we limp into conference play if they lose this

Can't play fast, get open shots, and have Woodard, Hield, and Cam shoot 10-37 from the field. That, with Woodard's 7 turnovers, bother me more than the defense. That and the offensive boards we've allowed.

meh, we'll learn from it.

their length + our poor perimeter = hard to overcome tonight

KUDOS to La Tech
