Guys, our defense is great. Our offense is just too good, it creates an optical illusion that makes it look like we just leave people wide open threes and give them wide open driving lanes consistently.

Defense didn't really play that bad in the OT. The bad offense after getting up 4 was the reason for this loss.

Not a terrible loss as I expect La Tech to make the tournament. But this gives me a pretty good idea of where we are right now....and that is we are 6th or 7th in our conference. Because if you can beat La Tech at home, then it is what it is. With noticeable improvement, we can be 5th in the Big 12....but I just don't see our ceiling much more than that.

Agree but we have been on thin ice in several games and managed to escape. Maybe we can learn more after a loss.

quickness was the reason for the loss..imo

I don't know his history, but the line closed at -3.5 and we just lost at home. I think it's fair to say they're the better team.

You are partially correct I think. They should've never been in this spot to begin with. 14 point lead at home late in first half, then tied at half? You've got to be kidding me that cant happen at HOME. The defense looked like the NBA2K14 defense on the pick and roll, they couldn't stop it. Another SFA bad loss that only hurts their resume. Call me a pessimist but I just don't see them winning games in conference with performances like that. I hope im wrong though

You're wrong. We'll be fine and are a better team then last year which I thought was pretty easy to see so far this season.

Terrible defense finally caught up to us. Combined with awful shot selection/execution in overtime and it adds up to a loss. There's worse teams to lose to than Louisiana Tech, but how we lost is what's disappointing.
