OU makes the cut for Karviar Shepherd

Sam/Will.........OU got a shot with this Shepherd.

6-10 kid ranked 34th nationally. Played with Hornbeak at Grace Prep.

Said in a Rivals update he says he thinks he should stay close to come.

His list is TCU, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Marquette, Kansas and Oklahoma.

Him and Mickey could be a package deal, both play AAU and high school ball together.

If they do indeed become a package. Package deals can be overrated, but they're two post players that have played together a while and I've believe they've taken a lot of visits together (I don't believe Shepherd visited OSU with Mickey though).

They're also two post players that I think compliment each other well. Mickey is more of a raw athletic post with aspirations to become a wing, while Shepherd is more of a traditional back to the back, really good at everything type.

His brother is Keith Davis who I believe is at A&M. Kansas has been a name I have heard a lot with him and Mickey. My gut is OU was stronger last year with the pair than this year.
