OU recruiting 2017

With OU in the running for both Davis and Gray our ranking can still move up...
Right now our class is ranked somewhere out side of the top 20 over on espn, but they also have us with only 2 committed players.

No question our recruiting has slowly improved with the return of Pam but we still have a long way to go to get the number of top level talent in Norman that is needed. I strongly think as do most coaches that you win big with the Jane's and Jo's more so than any single ingredient. Would love to see Davis and Gray in crimson and creme but I still have my doubts. May be one of them preferably Davis?

Llanusa tweeted- official visit next week. Looks like she will be in for Kansas. Interesting to see who else visits.

It was reported today that Vivian Gray has signed with Div I Fort Lewis College, Durango, Co. Apparently this is her mom's alma mater and Vivian's sister is already playing there. Vivian was on several "wish lists ' on this board. She might have looked great in Crimsom & Cream, but at least we won't see her as a Cowgirl, Frog or Horn.

I think Hale said Davis visited about two or three weeks ago, and the visit was a good one.

Just saw Chad with a mom and dad and a recruit leaving the football game. Probably a 2018 recruit. Did not recognize her..guard size

She's going to a school with a lovely setting. I love the Durango area.

sounds like Rennia Davis will be waiting until the fall to sign her LOI... The last time OU waited out for a player it was Betnijah Laney who ended up picking Rutgers back in 2011... This could be working in OU's favor since it was said that Davis was a GA tech lean... maybe shes having a hard time picking a school

This IS the fall or early signing period. They can sign through 11/16, night of UALR. After that, the Regular Signing Period is April 12 through May 17, 2017.

Oh okay thanks for cleaning that up... She should be signing soon...

Any new News on Davis? Today is the last day to sign, still holding out hope that she'll pick OU...

Just did a quick twitter search and last tweet on her is she is the only top 20 player that hasn't announced.

Since Tennessee got Westbrook, getting Davis would likely make OU or Tennessee a strong candidate for best recruiting class

The belief is Davis did sign on Wednesday but will wait and announce on Sunday. No apparent leaks on who she signed with so I guess we will hear on Sunday.

I don't know what it means, but Rennia Davis' twitter post has three tangerines. Is that meant to mean Tennessee (orange?). If so, they just finished a phenomenal recruiting year.
