Ou-tcu

I had the impression that the TCU talent was much better than the TCU team.
They are just very young and inexperienced, starting 3 freshmen and a sophomore. I was particularly watching Kamy Cole since she had originally committed to OU before decommitting and committing to TCU. She's gotten a lot of playing time and moved into a starting role since our last game with them. She looks like she's about on the same level as Nicole Kornet.

Except for being 3 or 4 inches shorter when Nicole blocked her shot! :)

Not to dwell on "spilled milk", but I was watching Kamy too. She moves without the ball really well, and has nice form on her outside shot, she would have been a good addition to our Sooners.

I have noticed that Nicole K's biggest problem on her shot is she tends to float either forward or a little to the side. When she goes up strong and straight "cha-ching". I really like her hard work on the floor, she is going to be a good one.

So proud of this team since the epic injury to Mrs. Hand-Jones. That was a narrow win over a team we normally would have pounded, so I was afraid we might not get 16 wins for the whole season. We already have 16.

Chelsea Dungee and her parents were in attendance tonight also.

OK, I give, who is Chelsea Dungee? She is not on the prospects page (which needs some serious house cleaning Norm. Don't we pay you enough?)

Sorry, Banjo! She's a freshman, I think, from Preston, OK (or close) that is pretty outstanding. She had committed to osu but has since decommitted and opened up her recruiting, still considering osu. She willl be a national recruit, I'm sure, and it would be a coup if she ends up in Norman. Still a long way to go before signing day.

All 3 (Chelsea and her parents) were decked out in OU gear, for what that's worth. There was also supposedly another recruit attending but don't have any idea who. I would supposed she would be near to Norman to be able to drive for a mid-week game.

Twas a bit scary starting off down 11-0. Fortunately the mens game was a welcomed distraction till the score was a bit more endurable.

Perhaps the two teams should play at the same time more often?

Subsequent to this game, I think OU is #2 in three-point field goal percentage at 39.6%. Aaryn has probably fallen from fifth to seventh at 44.9%.
