6 losses in a row I hope SC is toast. I can't take much more of this next season.

This board is getting kind of sad.....not much interest in a bad team with little hope for improvement.

Wow. And I repeat: WOW!!!

We are now just one tiny game ahead of Kansas. If we lose both remaining games (which appears to be almost a certainty), we are very likely to end up dead last in the conference.

Unbelievable.

How can this be? One of the worst teams in one of the worst conferences in the country, As discouraged as I've been this year, I still would never have expected it to be this bad.

Guys how many of you miss the old days when there was all kinds of posts on this board discussing OU Women's basketball. We are now back to where Sherri began, at the bottom.

I miss the old days when the Big 12 wasn’t just “Baylor and everybody else.”

I miss the days when the Big 12 tournament was something to look forward to. When there was a little bit of drama not knowing which team would emerge victorious in the end.

Does anyone remember the old HoopScoop board and all the lively discussions there? That place has been a ghost town for almost a decade now.

Besides Baylor, the whole conference has just been a mess recently.

The whole thing just makes me sad.

Well, in this case one could argue that you "don't get what you pay for."

OR

that you get what you're "stupid enough to pay for."

We could accomplish nothing tonight. Robertson was a non-factor and we had to depend on Gregory scoring a career high 20+ to allow us to lose by only 10.

I saw not one double screen. Not one back cut. Just jumpers from gregory and drives to the hoop by Ana.
Robertson barely even touched the ball.

We are now depending on Gregory to keep us in games. Let that sink in ladies and gentlemen.

While she works hard and tries, she can't lick Whitney Hand, Amanda Thompson or Leah Rush's sneaker soles. Or for that matter Carley Rothlesberger's.

Gregory would have been a practice player in our hey day. The only current team members good enough to play with the OU greats are Ana and Williams. Let that sink in boys and girls.

Hell, I'm not even sure Ana or Williams would see the floor during a game during our prime.

I think Sherri is probably a wonderful person, but her stubbornness, her "I'm the boss, etc." drove away good players, refused to sign good players, led her to keep marginal coaches on her bench for at least a decade.

It's a car wreck and a cluster f**k now and we all know it.

If she isn't fired or retired by the second week after the Big 12 tournament we should all start an online petition to send to Joe demanding her reassignment completely away from the program.

Time to act people. Time to act.

I don't know anyone personally on the staff or team. I have said and thought since Bo left that she neededa coach who complemented her. Not being in her shoes, I have no idea of her logic nor philosophy. I do think she wanted to stay, do well and eventually Colton would take over. Now I am guessing he and his wife will be looking for new jobs in another state, not at all what they had planned. Though a rough awakening, they are so much better off than many. I just want Amanda Thompson to get a coaching job at a division one school that she will enjoy. The others will do okay. Also believe we had players in the past who could have made it in the WNBA if they had been coached and developed at the collegiate level. I hope they obtained degrees from which you could actually get decent jobs.

It's way past time for Joe C.to do what he is paid to do!If he can't ask SC to gracefully step aside & retire, then we really don't need an AD.Go Sooners!!!

I am a Joe C fan.

He has improved every program at OU. Exceptions seem to be in basketball. I am a Kruger fan but I think Kelvin and Tubbs were a little better coaches.

And Current Sherri is not as good as Past Sherri and not getting any better. We are starting a 6-1 center and recruit only a 5-3 point guard. The game has changed. Better players are out there that we don't get and there are a lot of better coaches today.

"Sherri" has always been "Sherri"...past, present and appears to be the future as well. The only difference was the "past Sherri" had talented players who could compete at a high level and experienced success, however, they could have been better with good leadership, development and coaching...probably a few NC's in their day. IMO...she has made out like a bandit (financially)...unheard of amongst her peers. She is who she is.

It was not Gregory's high game, she had 30 against Baylor. Sorry, but I think she is having a fine freshman year. If teams don't help off Robertson and face guard her, she can't get open no matter double screens you give her. She might be getting tired since she rarely comes out of the game.
