Well, we shot poorly, didn't really drive, had 3/4 big men in foul trouble, Cole had to play the last 5 minutes...and we lead by 5. We just need to shoot better and defend and stay away from fouling.

We couldn't drive against them much even when we tried. Outside of maybe Woodard, I don't trust our guards driving.

Well...we are on our way to attempting 44 3-point shots in this game (we are 5/22). We are fortunate that UCLA has been missing free throws or it would be an even game. Some poster below mentioned that they like the flow and spacing of the offense....are you f...ing kidding me? What game has that guy been watching? Most of the time, I have no idea what we are doing on that end of the floor. :facepalm

Need to focus on getting the ball inside/to the basket, specifically get the ball to Thomas to go to work with. UCLA isn't as good as I thought they were, so with a relatively consistent flow on offense along with limiting TOs and rebounding, we have a good chance of pulling this out.

UCLA played horrible enough to be down by 10 to 20 points yet it's a two possession game. So far there really aren't any players who are able to show consistency in scoring from game to game. Cousins doesn't seem to be there and Hield hasn't done much.

Agree. No effort to go inside. Why put Cole in? He brings nothing offensively. Don't get me wrong, he's a good hustle guy, but not much other than garbage points otherwise.

Got 2 fouls early. Our big's committed 9 or our 12 fouls.

Fortunate to be leading this game...way too many 3s. We need to learn how to beat a zone in other ways than jacking 3s.

To their credit, Ucla appears to have a formidable zone with their athleticism and length.

It seemed to me their big men kept getting the free throw attempts. Not surprising they didn't shoot a good percentage.
