Thanks Syb! K-State always plays tough regardless of the circumstances. Good to win on the road. On to the next game.

Sherri summed it up in the radio post game. We were good when we needed to be, lackluster in between.

She said the help side defenders down the stretch couldn't make their minds up whether to step in to stop the drive or stay with their 3 point shooters; they ended up in no man's land not really covering either.

I thought we failed to impose our will early. As a result, we had to go to a smaller lineup and beat them at their own game.

I also thought we easily won the head to head point guard matchup against their All-America candidate.

I dont have the stats but ill bet they got 20 points on uncontested lay ups. Throw in all the chippies we missed and it should have been a laugher. I thought they really played hard and jo looked good in the post. Nice job by both freshmen and sharane really came through. I hope they get that defense pfigured out cuz that was awful. I thought they should have tone through nic every time. She had seven inches on that girl. Still a good win on the road. Terrible fans. *****ed every time down the floor

That's certainly not how I saw it. Chambers had 14 pts. and 11 RB's to Hook's 11 pts. and 2 RB's. On the other hand Hook had 8 assists to Chambers 1 - but I mostly consider that being due to the fact Texada was continually putting the ball on the floor and driiving to the bucket (i.e. no assist there).

However I do think it was a sub-par game for Chambers who usually lives out at the 3-pt circle. OU does a has a good 3-pt D. But I certain would disagree with the "easily won" part.

An ugly win is a win. Man, the missed lay-ups and lack of help side defense just about cost us a W. Glad to get this over and back to the Loyd Noble. Lets see if we can put together a nice string of wins and keep a solid hold on second place.

Escaped with a win in spite of ourselves.

Did Durrett even play in the second half? I didn't see her. Thought she had a nice first half? Did I miss something?

At some point in the second half, we started playing only one post and that pretty much shut out Durrett.

They were doing the same thing to us that we did to Baylor - try to draw the center out to guard at the 3 point line. I'm guessing that of our 3 post players, Durett is weakest playing out there and Jo is the best.

Nice win BUT what an aweful TV production IMO. I really hope OU's home produced shows don't come over in a Homerish type way like K-States did. WOW, fail.

I muted the TV when they said the color commentator was a former KSU player. I don't think the Sooner Sports Network productions are that bad. For one thing, I've heard our commentators give credit to the opponents for good plays and acknowledge bad plays on our part.

***** = ?????

B!tched. Sorry i forgot we have a filter here. The ones around me not only cried for everything but weren't exactly knowledgeable.

I know you guys are up on the refs but the guy and the black girl were awful. I'll bet KSU didn't have ten fouls the whole game until they had to foul. They only had four with a minute left.

She was playing very well and then she took that quick three and Sherri yanked her. I'm thinking Sherri has a short leash as far as she's concerned. I was very pleased with her effort and play tonight. Was I the only one feeling that sometimes the game seemed a little advanced or fast for her? JMO.

I'll say it again. Jo did a great job playing the post. Her two man game with Sharane opened up those threes Sharane hit.

All's well that ends well. When Whitney got hurt, I thought this team would be lucky to win 17 games for the whole season. They're already 17-5. :clap
