OU vs Florida 8:30 12/21

This teams' run and gun approach makes it so enjoyable to watch. And they can play D when they did too.
Close to Billy Ball as we have seen at OU since the Tubbs era.

That's what I said up thread. We'll see if it holds up when we get in the Big 12 schedule.

Which starts Saturday on ESPN+ at 1pm against WVU 9-2 in Morgantown. Boomer Sooner!!!

WVU's two losses were at Penn Stat and against No. 13 NCStqte (78-40) on neutral court. They do not appear to have a height advantage over us. Their forwards are 6-3 and 6-2.

They thumped our common opponent, Robert Morris, about like we did. Their scores generally run much lower than ours, but their opponents have scored quite a bit higher. So they look like a defensive team.

We have started very strong in the last two games with our starting five. The dropoff when we start subbing indicates that we still have work to do on the rotations. Baranczyk may have an idea who the best 6-7-8-9 players will be but is still working with 11 players.

Still not clear to me how good we are. With Baylor and Texas seemingly having off years we could finish high but we need the defense we had against Florida, the recent rebounding and a solid rotation plan without the recent dropoff in quality play.

Most concerned about backup point. Reyna Scott has big upside but is still having too many freshman moments. Johnson and Culliton seem to be progressing. Hard to tell now which will be the backup to Scott who seems to have found a new level on defense.

Believe Joens and Van are established and solid backups.

If we could get Kelbie back that would help a lot at guard. Still no word on where or why she is?
