Honesty question. Do you think top recruits want to play with a high volume shooter with no consequences? I’m not being negative. They won’t. They didn’t want to come from the portal. Have you all read all the comments on Twitter? There are maybe two fans for her, and the rest wanting her gone. Again, I want her to stay. But the coach has to make her a team player to get the type of recruits we need and want.

She had 7 assists last night. She took 13 shots. She only made two. Florida's best player took 26 shots. Which one sounds more like a team player? How do you know there are no consequences? Some coaches yank a player the minute they do something they don't like. Other coaches sit down with the player and the video and say, "How is that working for you? Look at the pass that was open and that you didn't make?" How a coach handles it depends on the coach and the player. Personally, I favor the second option.

This board allows far too many trolls. Hopefully, none of our players pay any attention to what anyone says on social media.

It’s easy to see, because nothing changes. She took 13 shots because she couldn’t take more. They were all over her and her attitude was terrible because of it. I sat front and center. Talking back and walking away from the coach because she was upset about not scoring. The fans around me were saying to sit her down for that. Those assists came in the second half. She’s the primary ball handler, she should have those assists numbers every game. I really like the kid but she needs reined in a bit. Sometimes the bench will make the adjustment. These aren’t bad conversations to have and if you watch in person, you see all of it. I still think she’s the best player on the team, just way too hard on herself.

Great things happen when Verhulst is included. Crafty and smart. I don’t know how she finishes some of the under the basket shots she does. She’s going to be the factor in the tournament.

Isv there any real information on the status of Chavez? What's the relationship between she and JB, is absolutely strong or becoming tedious? Is she well liked by her
teamamtes? Is there long term money in the bank to keep her at OU or is not a factor now that she is here? She may ne a gunner, but I sure wouldn't have minder if TRAE had stayed a 2nd year even if he wanted to ahot 30 times a game.

Dang I missed it! Did anyone get any answers on the internal relationships on this team? I sure hope we can keep everyone and don't lose any on account of transferring. Definitely need everyone to come back with more experience next year and then also add a couple pieces in order for us to continue progressing as a program. Hopefully JB learns her lesson and next year we have a deeper team?

Tennessee should be an easy win if Beers stays out of foul trouble. They don’t have a player that can match up with her. However, I could see them flopping and her picking up 5 offensive fouls.

There's absolutely no doubt they'll flop. SEC teams have been doing it (against Beers) since conference play started.

Tennessee will be a battle like everyone else. And they shoot a lot of threes. We need more than Lofton to stop the perimeter. I don’t know how well they shoot out though. Maybe it won’t be a bad thing.

Yeah agreed. Tennessee is tricky because they are super talented and athletic, but very inconsistent. They are deep as well. They either get destroyed against elite teams, or play them incredibly close and have a chance to win, so you just never know what you're going to get. I can't help but wonder if JB had this much talent on her team what we'd look like, and think maybe Caldwell isn't making the most out of the talent she has?

Also agree that Georgia will be tough as well. Missouri and Arkansas seem like guaranteed wins for us, knockwood!
