Reynolds has really been coming on lately. I think he pretty much has to keep his job when Muni is healthy making our starting lineup look like:

Calixte
Reynolds
James
Manke
Muni

This really is a balanced starting lineup. Every player is just a hair under 10 points per game with the exception of James. I can't remember the last time we had that sort of balance.

Reynolds off the bench is phenomenal. No need to mess it up.

He clearly plays starter minutes off the bench.

James is playing so many minutes it doesn’t matter much but Reynolds definitely needs to be on the court when James is sitting

We’re in a good place right now

Just wish we could get Manek’s shot falling

this is key need one of them all the time on the court .. they both have no fear and force the issue

Need to get Doolittle playing better.
What exactly defines "better????"

I'm always intrigued by this, as I'm not sure that the average fan is paying attention to analytics. Not saying you are an average fan, just curious as to what this means for you?

exact same thing coach Lon said while speaking with Toby Rowland a few days ago. coach says they have to figure out how to get doolittle to just open up and let it go. he's got "it" inside him but he's just so self-restrained.

This has everything to do with scheme (and usage as I stated in another post to you). Doolittle is a product of trying to make the "right" play. He is a structure and definition guy (also why he has the best defensive numbers of any G/F combo on the team). OU lives off the single ball screen and very little else right now. As a result, Doolittle is a little on the outside looking in on game nights. Anyone who watches practice (where they actually call more action) knows Doolittle is one of our most talented 2-way players.

Very little to do with scheme as to being assertive. He was the same in high school. He's a very good player and does look to make the right play, just doesn't hunt his shot too often.

Where did the Doolittle who scored 27 at UT as a freshman go? That's the guy OU has been looking for ever since. I always felt with his strength and quickness he was going to be a handful on offense, but it just hasn't materialized for him yet.

Doo took 43 threes as a freshman (39% made), four as a sophomore (50% made) and hasn't taken one all year as a junior. This is usually the opposite with big guys.

LK seems to encourage guys to shoot, unlike Kelvin, who only wanted a few to shoot, so I am not sure why Doo isn't shooting the corner 3 more.

In the death lineup (without Muni) it would give you 5 legit 3-point shooters

JAY, that Doolittle was being run through sets and actions to get the ball in certain spots and areas of the floor with which to attack. That team was limited, and Lon went into set mode--where he thrived. Ever since, Lon has been in create mode--an area where Doolittle does not thrive. That being said, he still has one of the highest offensive and defensive ratings on the team.
