Our Point Guard for Next Year?

Is he going to be able to play immediately????

Obviously i have never seen him play...

But i like the pickup in the fact that, much like getting a JUCO pg, the guy has experience and has played at the college level...

I'm not ready to say the Sun Belt level is much better than JUCO (since the majority of the players i played against went to this level D1 or above), but it is D1...

Probably a better get than a PG that is still undecided at this point from Juco...also could be a wash...either way IMO it is a positive...

I have to say I like the idea of getting a player with D-1 starting experience. He is one of the only guys we know is ready to play at a D-1 level.

From my experience, the Sun Belt is a far better skill level than JUCO. Just my opinion though.

I also like the fact that he was an Honor Student in high school. Hopefully that's an indication that he'll attend class and keep himself eligible.

Maybe now some of the Doom and Gloom for next year can dissipate and we can get behind supporting our new and returning players

Yea, you are right...it is a higher level for sure...will be good to have a guy with PG experience in that league...

I was basing my opinion on UNO itself, which has been a poor program for a while...the rest of the league is pretty solid and he faced some very good guards on a night in night out basis...solid learning experience for the Big XII....

boy our expectations have sure changed over the last several months.....i remember people pissin and moanin when they thought honore was transfering on scholorship before it was announced he was a walk on....now we all think he will get some run....sad that our expectations have changed this much but we have to face the facts

It's going to take some time to rebuild. No one should expect a quick fix.
