Well it was what I would call a perfect storm for Mizzou. There coach even said they couldn't play better and we played really bad on the road.

I still have every confidence that we will continue to improve and with Kruger's leadership we will become a top 15 team in the next couple of years.

Kansas will be tough on Saturday, but a win would make us forget this loss real quick.

Yeah. I don't write this one off by any means, but I wouldn't take from it that we're suddenly terrible. They were unconscious from behind the arc, and we couldn't hit anything to save our lives. That lack of shooting comes from lack of confidence in yourself against big teams, and it's not something we can get from a few good wins against mediocre teams in the non-conference slate.

We are a better team than last year. The results may be similar, but we got more open looks and more defensive pressure. When they shoot that well from behind the arc, even when they have defenders giving pressure, there's just not much you can do but keep up. We can't score like that against good teams with this talent.
