We have two posts and two point guards. I think the deciding factor in how good this team is or will be resides in the "scorers." These should have been our leading scorers this year. Peyton was last year. Gioya was at times until she faded. Maddie can do more, but seems to have lost her shooting touch.

I think that if we get thirty points from these three in a game, we will be on the cusp of winning. If we don't, we have a problem. They are averaging just below that. But, I think we know what we will get from Kay Kay, Vivi, T'Ona, and Gabbi. These three have been the enigma.

Unfortunately, only Maddie is playing an all-around game. She is still a contributor if she only scores six or eight due to her rebounding, steals, blocks, and passing. But, Peyton and Gioya have to score. They are what we need to have a steady offensive performance. For some reason, they are off this year. We need thirty points.---plus

At the game Monday night, I was discouraged to watch Maddie pass up several open shots. The girls are - to a pretty big extent - suffering from a loss of confidence in themselves.

They all need one more offseason to work on the fundamentals. Always trying to beat people with by being more athletic, or with bad feet. None the less. If the top comes off tom- we could be the second best team in the conference again.

I also fell like last game especially there was a lot of emphasis to get the ball in the paint. Idk if Sherri told them to do that or what, but Maddie didn't even look for a shot- it was paint. paint. paint.

U gotta keep in mind too- We keep looking at this as a bad situation, but were actually in the perfect place- haven't peaked yet. Obviously u gotta worry if we ever do, or if they even got enough confidence left to get through it. But none the less- we haven't peaked so we can keep some optimism going forward.. some

We looked like we were playing streetball in the Baylor game. Everything one on one. Treys that we only hit a few and layups which we missed many. We don't seem to have an offensive flow that gets people open.

As far as extenuating circumstances, we were playing one of the best teams in the country and they forced us into tough shots. But I just didn't see much offense other than getting the ball to the posts.

We did run a nice high ball screen where Treece hit a trey. And some nice penetrations to the hoop but not enough finishes.

Baylor runs a nice offense and gets a lot of easy open shots and we need to tie a cinder block to Jones' right leg. I think we did a reasonable job of handling their huge post players. Overpowered at times but generally held them down pretty well.
