Players discuss Capel's firing

Also, the article answers some of the "Who's in charge" questions. Brandon Martin, Yo-Yo, involved...

Glad to hear the players are working out, staying positive. The coaching change may end up helping all of them in the long run.

Feel pretty good about their attitudes. Nice to heat that Newell is around and working. I was concerned he would be gone as soon as the season ended.

Looks like they are all likely staying. Which is good for the next caoch. There's some good young talent.

Wish there had been a mention about Cam in the article so we could get a little bit of a gauge on where he's at with all this.

They're really good kids. The right coach will go a long ways toward healing the pain of the change. They just need what we all need, wins. Actually they need it more than we do.

I've saw the players at the Huff yesterday shooting hoops and playing some pick up games against each other... seems like these guys are more motivated than ever

These guys are all a pretty tight bunch. The only one I've been concerned about is Cam just because we haven't heard much from him.

I hope that new coach can come in and build relationships with these kids (and sign some last minute players - pg and big man)...

This is the first thing that came to my head when I read this

I never knew Alexander Haig and I had so much in common.

If the pipe dream goes down Cam will be just fine. He built a relationship with Buzz before heading to Norman.
