If my math is correct(50/50 chance) , Pledge is on the verge of joining the 1000 point club, currently sitiing at 975.

Pledger is going to leave OU pretty high up on the all time scoring list. I don't get why some people are so critical of him.

it's b/c he was streaking shooting the ball his first two years after being billed by capel as the best 3 pt shooter he had seen. Now he is shooting a high percentage but is nonexistent in some games

My math was apparently a little off on Pledge, according to the announcers at the Baylor game,Steven was at 873. With his 21 pt performance he is now 6 shy of 1000.

I don't think he has been nonexistent this year. He is the primary focus of the other teams defense and averaging 17 ponts per game this year. I do recognize he had bad games at Tech and ISU but to average 17 on the season means you are being very consistent.

Pledger is going to leave OU as one of the all time leading scorers (probably top 10) and potentially the leader for 3 point shots made. That is a guy fans should appreciate.

yeah nonexistent is too strong of a word. He goes through stretches were you forget he is even out there. I realize a lot of that is the defense being played on him.

id take him over tony crocker who was the king of inconsistency. he'd have 40 then have literally 0.. pledger had a rough first two years but looks like a stud this year. wonderful surprise for this unfortunate season

Tony Crocker was inconsistent with wide open shots off Blake Griffin double teams.

Stephen Pledger has a guy in his jersey at all times or double teamed. If he had some help or a PG that could shoot, his life would be much easier.

I think both Crock and Pledge have been and are very good players that we should appreciate. They both will have 4 years at OU as 1,000 pt scorers that rarely caused off the court trouble. I'd take them both any day. They both had some BIG games as well.

I'll always be greatful for Crocker for his performance against Syracuse in the Sweet 16. One of the biggest wins in OU history.
