Well I don't think I have attacked anyone, called anyone names, or been mean spirited about anything. If I have, I apologize for that........
I wasn't pointing a finger at you.

I have spent the last year putting those people on tilt just for the fun of it. Pledger has just been the most convenient vehicle.
It has taken awhile, but, it has worked to some degree. For the most part, myself or anyone else can come and go with a minority opinion without much grief.
What is fun about that? I have respected your posts even though I have always thought your pledge hate was over the top. However, even then I believed this was your particular honest view which is fine. But what you describe in your post is clearly the act of trolling in the sense you are purposely trying to instigate message board fights for the fun of it. I always give people the benefit of the doubt and really appreciated your practice reports but clearly Skyvue's assessment of your threadjacking appears to be spot on and I was'nt convinced of that. I would just hit ignore now that you have made your real motives clear but you post in almost every thread and I would still have to read them when other people quote you so that would not do any good.
None of us know for sure who was at fault. And I just rewatched it about 5 times, and the "bickering" doesn't look nearly as bad to me as it did watching it live.
The play starts at the 1:41:04 mark if you watch the SoonerSportstv replay.
If somebody can read lips, I'd love to know what Osby said. Kruger was right there, and didn't say anything, or have a disgusted look on his face, so I'd say it isn't a big deal.
I'd be pretty surprised if LK thought M'Baye did the right thing on that play though. His defender was VERY late getting back down the floor, and M'Baye was hanging out near the top of the key. Had he flashed to the lane, probably an easy dunk. Had he flared out to the wing, probably an open 3. But he just stood there. JMO.
pledger should have ripped him
m'baye just stopped on the play just when pledge passed him the ball .. his defender was trailing behind him and he had the entire lane ...
pledger should have ripped him
Really? So every time a player makes a misstep or poor choice a teammate should rip him?
I say let the coach handle that. The players need to tend to their own business. None of them are perfect; they'll all make boneheaded plays. And if a player does want to speak to a teammate about a poor play, it should be one-on-one on the bench (or, even better, in the locker room), not out on the court.
If it is b/c of a lack of effort or hustle, I would hope a senior would get onto a new comer

I think if it was Osby ripping him we would be talking about our seniors being leaders and holding new guys accountable. I think it is a positive change that bad plays are an issue that get our guys upset. I just don't think this was a serious spat just one guy calling another guy out for not hustling.

Didn't Ro and Pledger get into something similar during the first scrimmage?
Also, I just watched it again and it's clearly not M'Baye fault. he was standing at the 3 point line while Pledger was trying to take number 15 off the dribble then Pledger attempted a one handed pass of a dribble to M'Baye which was off target and went out of bounds. How anyone can say M'Baye wasn't hustling or giving effort in this particular instance is beyond me and they need to go back and watch it again.
How anyone can say M'Baye was doing the "correct basketball thing" there, is beyond me. You are almost NEVER in the right, in basketball, if you are standing still without the basketball. Pledger threw the ball where M'Baye should have been going. Just like a QB throwing to where a receiver is "suppose" to be.
It would be better if all threads had 1 page with no responses. The fact that this has made 3 pages is amazing. Bless the Internet.
