Positive attitude a large part of Kruger's success

Does Hoover ever cover OSU and if so, does he write things like this about OSU:

Just listen to his comments after the Sooners tripped all over themselves and were dominated by Baylor on Thursday in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals.

That isn't exactly what happened on Thursday. Baylor dominated half of that game. Any coach could be positive about the second half.

I have no idea what this writer covers, as I only read his stuff when someone posts a link like this. Also, I do not mean to defend a "journalist" as I do not hold most members of that profession in high regard. Like politicians and car salesman, I doubt that I would allow most of them into my back yard.

However, when I read the article, I did not "trip over" that particular sentence, but rather took in the entire article. Taken as a whole, the article is very positive about Coach Kruger, his career, and the results of this season.

For example, there is this from the article:
He's still the only coach to take five different programs to the NCAA Tournament, one of three coaches to win an NCAA Tournament game at four different schools and one of five coaches to take three schools to the Sweet Sixteen.

OU this season makes him the only coach to take five schools to multiple tournaments. And if the Sooners win their first-round game, he'll be the only coach to win an NCAA Tournament game at five schools.

Sure, there is a sentence or two in the article that can strike a nerve, but the vast majority of the article is very positive about the OU team and coach.
