Not get in foul trouble and be aggressive.
Score from the paint, make it an emphasis.
Rebound.
Contest Shots.

Spangler, this is your time to shine.

Tough to do against Baylor. Rico Gathers, Prince, and Motley are all tough inside. They have a lot of length.

Spangler will do fine. I just want Lattin to stay out of foul trouble and rebound. Block out. Be active, but don't try to block every shot.

Worked in the first half. Let's hope the second half is similar.

Yeah, except for the part about Lattin staying out of foul trouble and rebounding.

Pretty sure Spangler is giving Baylors bigs problems. Not to mention the rebounds and post scoring by Spangler and Lattin.

Spangler was my player of the game. 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. Even though Baylor is bigger, OU out-rebounded them 35-32 and Spangler led the way.

No doubt about it! It seemed like when Baylor would go on a run, spangs would hustle down the court and put himself in position to make a lay-up, dunk or grab a crucial board. Kept them at arm's length for most of the second half. Great senior night!

Did you notice that when Lon substituted Buford in for Lattin, Baylor guards started to attack the basket? It happened when we played Kansas, Texas Tech.
When Buford came in, we don't have the post length to block shot. All of the stupid turnovers nearly cost us the game. Also when we can't make shot, we have the tendency to play bad defense.

You are accurate, our D let up when the shots were not falling. We started out great and actually pressured the dribblers causing several TO's Buddy even got a pick and layup.

MSU plays great D every possession which we need to do to advance very far in the Tourney

Yeah, Buford struggles at times. I'm not sure he's big enough to be a 4, not athletic enough for the 3. He should be a nice role player as he finishes up his career.
